Materials - Platinum
I design and make platinum rings for all occasions, especially wedding, engagement, and eternity rings. They come with or without precious stones; plain, polished, or patterned – the choice is yours. Each ring or piece of jewellery is individually made to your specific requirements and silver mock-ups are often employed as part of the design process. This enables you to see and try the finished item before committing to a specific design. Stones are also available on approval for selection.

The greyish/white colour of platinum combines well with gold, which lends itself to simple understated design. Its variety of different finishes (polished, matt, sandblasted, burred or hammered) broaden the scope for design and provide a contemporary feel and versatility for the wearer.
Platinum is a hard-wearing metal which suits its use in jewellery but its limited resources and current demand have made it a most valuable and highly prized commodity.
Most countries specify that for an item to be as described as ‘platinum’ it must comprise not less than 95% platinum. In the UK the hallmarking standard for platinum is 95%.
